Target Participants
Students in grades one to six are studying the primary or secondary school mathematics curriculum in Hong Kong, and students from Mainland China are attending schools for Hong Kong residents.
Consists of Individual events and Inter-school events
Individual Events
There are six levels in total (Level 1-6) for the primary and secondary school category. Parents or guardians recommend students to participate in the competition. Participants are required to answer a bilingual (Chinese-English) test paper. The scores are used for ranking in the "Individual Events" category, competing for individual awards.
Inter-school events
The competition is divided into primary school and secondary school categories, with a total of twelve levels (both six levels of primary school and secondary school). Schools can recommend students from each level to participate. Each representative must individually answer a bilingual (Chinese-English) test paper. The ranking in the "Inter-School Events" is calculated based on the total scores of each representative. The individual scores of each school's representatives are also used for ranking in the "Individual Events" category, competing for individual awards.
